What's Drinking
At New Almaden Brewing Company, our beers are conditioned in the bottle and naturally carbonated. This results in a rounder, more pleasing taste than force-carbonated, mass-produced brews. As such, all NABC beers exhibit a small yeast deposit at the bottom of the bottle*. To enjoy these beers fully, they should be poured gently, leaving about ¼ inch behind. Start by tilting the glass and pouring down the side to release the first wave of aroma. Then, return the glass to vertical and finish pouring at the center, allowing a rich head to develop.

*The yeast deposit may be consumed, but will have a slightly sour taste. Just swirl the leftover liquid vigorously to dislodge the yeast, then drink quickly. Some may experience slight gastric distress.
